Our story

For a long period of time, we found ourselves invisible in the middle of the northern darkness. No reflector perfectly matched our style while keeping us safe. And exactly there, in the absence of daylight, the idea of Ayla was born. We created a beautiful, practical, and elegant reflective accessory that replenishes your everyday style while making you seen as a halo of the moon.

Designed in Finland, made in Estonia

Each reflective accessory is designed in Finland by our co-founders and made in Estonia, partially using handmade techniques. Our skilled seamstresses shape every pleat and detail with care and precision. As our manufacturer put it, "these products require a lot of cooperation between the head and the hands."

Our products are not identical mass-produced pieces. Every reflective accessory is one of a kind — just like its wearer. We also value sustainability in our manufacturing partnership to create a product that last time in its existence but also in the way it’s manufactured.

Behind Ayla are two siblings whose roots trace all the way back to Southern Ostrobothnia.
