Born from safety, shaped by style

Ayla Collections is a Finnish accessories brand founded in 2024 by sisters Anni-Sofia and Ida-Maria Ankkuri. The idea for Ayla was born in the northern darkness, where we found ourselves choosing between style and safety. We wanted to challenge the conventional idea of reflective accessories by bringing safety and style together for everyday life and create products that could be both. Clean-lined design combining functionality, beauty and individuality is at the heart of what we do. Our reflective accessories are designed to become a natural part of your everyday wardrobe and easy to wear with your personal style.

Each reflective accessory is designed in Finland by our co-founders from the very first pencil stroke to the final version. Our products are made in Estonia together with our manufacturing partner, using partly handmade techniques. Details such as the gathered fabric and shaping of the rose need care and precision from the seamstresses. As our manufacturer put it, "these products require a lot of cooperation between the head and the hands." We want our products to stand the test of time, both in quality and in appearance. That is why we pay close attention to materials, finishing and thoughtful design, while working closely with our manufacturing partner. 

Ayla’s roots lie in Southern Ostrobothnia, but today we are based in Helsinki. This is also where we carefully pack every order by hand before sending it on its way. It has been inspiring to see so many people discover Ayla and fall in love with the look, details and idea behind our products. It reinforces what we have believed from the beginning: safety and style do not have to be mutually exclusive.
